Brewing tips and methods

Perfect iced tea

Hot infusion :

1 teaspoon in 150 ml of hot water for 3-7 min.

Remove the leaves and pour into a tall glass filled with ice cubes and/or 100ml of ice water.

Cold infusion :

Easy and avoids the bitterness of some teas.

1) Put 1-3 teaspoons in 500-600 ml of cold water and let stand for at least 3-4 hours in the fridge. Remove the leaves and enjoy! Perfect for infusing large amounts.

2) Want to drink it right away?

Infuse the leaves or a bag for 30 seconds in boiling water, remove the hot water and add ice water and ice cubes. You can fill your container 2-4 times with cold water.

*This technique is easier with the bags.

Cocktail tips

You can infuse all teas and tisanes in your favorite alcohol for flavored cocktails.

Ratio: 1 tablespoon in 250 ml of alcohol 6-8 hours in the fridge.

Simple syrup :

Simple syrup is an ideal ingredient for cocktails. It is easy to prepare and can be stored in the fridge without any problem. In a saucepan, mix 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar, bring to boil until the sugar is completely dissolved. Refrigerate in an airtight container.

Infused ice cubes :

Always have infused ice cubes in the fridge to complement your cocktails, shakes, fruit juices or just your glass of water. It’s also a good way to use up the teas that are dormant in your cupboards.
