Maple Matcha
A fine blend of culture with a delicious matcha from Japan and our national maple syrup.
Of course, this matcha is sweet, but it’s still good for energy, concentration and is rich in antioxidants.
Add it to your daily routine and you’ll be amazed at how good it is for both body and mind.
Here’s how to prepare matcha:
Ingredients:
– 0.5 to 1 teaspoon matcha
– 80-120 ml hot water (approx. 70-80°C)
– bamboo matcha whisk or electric milk whisk
– a bowl
Instructions:
1. Boil sufficient water and leave for a few minutes to reach the desired temperature.
2. In a bowl, add the matcha.
3. Add a small trickle of hot water over the matcha powder and mix using a bamboo matcha whisk or electric milk whisk until well blended and lump-free.
4. Add about 80-120 ml hot water (approx. 70-80°C) to the bowl, preferably pouring the hot water in continuously while whisking vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until you see a fine layer of foam forming on the surface.
5. You can add hot milk or any other desired additive to personalize the taste.
It’s important to note that matcha tastes best when consumed immediately, to enjoy its full flavor.
We also recommend using hot water at 70-80°C, not boiling water, to prevent the matcha powder from becoming bitter and to preserve its brilliant green color.
